One of Keli’s most notable accomplishments is her role in leading the development and presentation of the high-profile report, Demonstrating the Economic Benefits of Investing in Transportation, to the legislature’s Joint Study Committee on Critical Transportation Infrastructure Funding which led to the most significant transportation funding mechanism in Georgia history.  House Bill (HB) 170, also known as the Transportation Funding Act (TFA) of 2015, resulted in an additional $1.8B a year, doubling Georgia’s transportation funding.

As an autonomous and connected vehicle planning enthusiast, Keli is excited to integrate modern mobility solutions into our everyday transportation planning efforts. She has over 10 long range transportation plans, as well as multiple short- and long-range system plans and corridor studies, under her belt. Keli is familiar with every model in Georgia, as well as many in Florida, having previously led the development and instruction of multiple travel demand modeling courses throughout Florida. Keli will use her training background and rich interest in autonomous and connected vehicles to develop our training series.

Keli is both a certified planner (American Institute of Certified Planners) and a Professional Transportation Planner (PTP).
