Amber is a Transportation Planner with over 4 years of experience in the public and nonprofit sectors. She has a master’s degree in Regional and Community Planning from Kansas State University and has primarily worked in regional and rural communities. Her skills include public outreach, data analysis, GIS, and comprehensive planning, with a focus on using graphic design to translate complex planning concepts.

 

Before joining Modern Mobility Partners, Amber was an intern with the Flint Hills MPO in Kansas and was responsible for the organization’s active transportation plans and visual communication. She also interned with the City of Seattle, where she worked on traffic calming projects and learned about inclusive public engagement strategies. Amber is passionate about making communities safer, more accessible, and more inviting to everyone.
