Hunter has over five years of experience in multimodal transportation planning, with a focus and passion in public transit. His experience in the transit agency setting provides helpful insights into the daily operations for public transit agencies and the valuable relationship between transit operators and their partnering jurisdictions. Hunter’s strengths include data analysis and mapping, public outreach and engagement, agency and municipality coordination, and research.

Before joining Modern Mobility Partners, Hunter worked with the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) in Atlanta, GA and supported a variety of projects including transit service planning, jurisdictional coordination and public engagement, and innovative transit modes research. He also worked at Lee County Transit in Fort Myers, Florida where he was involved with new transit service implementation, National Transit Database (NTD) reporting, and bus stop management.

Hunter has a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a dual specialization in transportation planning and economic development.
