Jing has over 14 years of experience in travel demand modeling, performance-based transportation planning and air quality modeling. She has led travel demand modeling development and enhancement, traffic and toll revenue analyses, air quality modeling for a variety of clients including DOTs, tolling agencies, MPOs and counties. She has worked on project-, regional- and statewide- travel demand models for projects in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Illinois, and California. Jing leads the Technical Planning Services Division at Modern Mobility Partners.

Some of Jing’s notable accomplishments included working on Traffic and Revenue Analysis for Atlanta Managed Lane System Plan (2010) and Atlanta Managed Lane Implementation Plan (2015). She had been the Subject Matter Expert for Travel Demand Modeling and Air Quality Analysis for Managed Lanes identified in Georgia’s Major Mobility Investment Program (MMIP), the largest transportation program in Georgia’s history.

Jing has developed, updated and maintained every travel demand model for all MPOs in GA outside of Atlanta Region. She led the updates and enhancement of Georgia Statewide Travel Demand Model (GSTDM) and assisted GDOT to conducted a peer review of the model under the guidance of FHWA’s TIMP program.

She is leading the effort of updating the current GSTDM to the 2020 base year enhanced version, providing a more recent and robust travel demand forecasting program for planning studies and analysis in GA.
