SOCIAL and COMMUNITY
IMPACT
We pride ourselves on the diversity of our employees and the varying perspectives they bring to our clients and our community. Not only do we strive to plan equitable transportation systems, at Modern Mobility Partners, we make a very intentional effort to foster an inclusive workplace environment. It is ingrained in our DNA – in our company culture. Part of that is making a positive social and community impact.
WTS focuses on equity, access and advancement for women in transportation, and as a women-owned transportation planning firm, we are proud to be a sponsor. They work locally to offer professional development, mentoring, community service and networking opportunities to attract, sustain, connect and advance women’s careers in the transportation industry.

Our Director of Marketing, Ashley Shaw, has served as the Scholarship Chair for the Central Florida Chapter since January 2022.
Modern Mobility Partners is a proud sponsor of the Atlanta COMTO Chapter and their mission to ensure opportunities and maximum participation in the transportation industry for minority individuals, veterans, people with disabilities, and certified MWDBE businesses through leadership training, professional development, scholarship and internship funding, political advocacy, partnership building and networking opportunities.
We offer paid volunteer time for all full-time employees, so they have the opportunity to give back. Our Senior Modeler, Sai, volunteers with Lokarpan to teach math and physics to disadvantaged students in India, a program which offers solutions to empower communities living in stress. Sai says, "There is no such thing as a selfless act. While the kids might be benefitting from my teaching, I can say with certainty that I feel more rewarded at the end of every class. And there is nothing like helping someone in need during these challenging times the world is currently facing, even more so when you can do it without moving away from the comfort of your home."
As a transportation planning firm, we feel it is important to bring awareness to alternate and greener means of transportation, so every October we participate in Biketober, sponsored by the Midtown Alliance. Teams are formed, and miles and trips are logged to compete with other companies similar in size. Julia, pictured here, was our 2019 first-place winner in both categories, and overall MMP placed 16th out of 55 participating companies with 7-19 employees!
